Billy Elliot The Musical

For the musical based on the 2000 dramatic film Billy Elliot, Elton collaborated with Lee Hall, writer of the original film's screenplay. This original London cast recording also includes Elton's version of three songs: The Letter, Merry Christmas Maggie Thatcher, and Electricity, which peaked at No. 4 on the UK Official Singles Chart. The musical has won over 80 theatre awards worldwide and has been seen by nearly 5.4 million people in London, while globally it has been seen by almost 11 million.
