Recorded in Toronto, Canada, it reached No. 3 both in the UK and on the Billboard Top 200 chart. Its first single, Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word (one of Elton’s most performed songs) reached No. 6 on the Billboard Hot 100 and No. 1 on their Adult Contemporary chart.
