Elton’s 25th studio album has him paired with a wide variety of contemporary singers. Certified platinum by the RIAA only one year after its release, Duets contains several popular covers and singles; Don’t Let The Sun Go Down On Me, performed live in concert with George Michael, peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart while Don’t Go Breaking My Heart, performed with RuPaul, reached No. 3 on the Dance Music/Club Play Singles chart. In the UK, True Love, with Kiki Dee, reached No. 2.
