Friends

Elton and Bernie teamed up on their first soundtrack to this film, billed as "a controversial love story." The album, a mixture of original songs and orchestrated material by arranger Paul Buckmaster, received a 1972 Grammy nomination for Best Original Score Written for a Motion Picture. The songs were released on CD for the first time on Rare Masters (1992)
