In 1977, Elton John selected producer Thom Bell (The Spinners, The Stylistics, TSOP) to flavour his music with the Philadelphia Sound, so popular in the dance clubs of the time…and now.
This disc expands the original three-song vinyl EP (released in 1979) and features the US Top Ten single, Mama Can't Buy You Love. In 2003, a remix of Are You Ready For Love reached No. 1 in the UK Singles and Billboard Hot Dance Club charts.
