Jewel Box
“To delve back through every period of my career in such detail for Jewel Box has been an absolute pleasure.”
Elton: Jewel Box is an in-depth exploration of Elton’s extensive catalogue including rarities from 1965-1971, lesser-known B-Sides, and deep cuts personally curated by Elton, available now as deluxe 8CD and 9LP box sets, standalone 4LP, 3LP and 2LP breakouts.
The ultimate exploration into Elton’s extensive back catalogue, Elton: Jewel Box covers deep cuts, rarities from the earliest stages of his and Bernie Taupin’s musical journey, B-sides spanning 30 years and songs discussed in his best-selling, critically acclaimed 2019 memoir Me.
The 8 CD boxset of buried treasures comes in a beautiful hardcover book with the discs housed in the back, all wrapped in an outer slipcase. Each section comes accompanied with extensive notes including a track-by-track commentary by Elton for Deep Cuts.
Me
Elton’s first and only autobiography was released last year and is now available on paperback.
What better way for your Elton-obsessed loved ones to find out the truth about his extraordinary life in “the rock memoir of the decade.”
‘The Black Album’
While it may not have been his first full-length release, Elton John’s self-titled second album was the one that made him a star
In 2020, we celebrated the 50th anniversary of an album that launched a young British singer-songwriter onto the world stage. To mark the occasion the so-called Black Album’ was re-released as a 1LP gold 180 gram vinyl, with the Official Store carrying exclusive bundles with a t-shirt and lithograph featuring the album artwork and tracklisting.
Tumbleweed Connection
2020 also saw the 50th anniversary of ‘Tumbleweed Connection’.
To celebrate the landmark, a previously unheard jazz version of Come Down In Time was released on 10″ vinyl. Limited to just 5,000 copies, Come Down In Time (Jazz Version) hadn’t been heard for close to 5 decades until this year, when it was uncovered deep in the archives whilst researching rarities for Elton’s forthcoming boxset Elton: Jewel Box. A 50th anniversary vinyl edition of Tumbleweed Connection is also available now.
