A Match Made in Heaven: Elton and Gucci
Since the earliest days of his career, fashion has always played a vital role in Elton’s life as an artist.
From the flamboyant and expressive costumes of the 1970s that became pop culture icons, the looks may have changed over the years but one thing remains the same: Elton always embraces fashion as a celebration of his creativity and individuality.

So it comes as no surprise that Elton was destined to cross paths with Gucci, the fashion house famed for exuberance and eclecticism that has revolutionised the catwalk. When Alessandro Michele, as Creative Director, charted a new course for Gucci in 2015, Elton was immediately a fan of his bold new vision for the company.

The two friends have embarked on a collaborative partnership that will make Gucci the exclusive costume designer for Elton’s final tour, Farewell Yellow Brick Road.
But, before FYBR begins, boutiques around the world are about to experience Gucci’s incredible new collection, inspired by the fashion of Elton. Alessandro Michele and his team were given unprecedented access to Elton’s archives, refashioning and reimagining some of his most recognisable looks into new styles for today.
