‘Blue Wonderful’ Video

Elton’s new video for Blue Wonderful is here!

The video was produced by Revolver Films of Toronto and directed by Thibaut Duverneix. It was shot on December 20 in Châteauguay, Quebec, Canada and was choreographed by Victor Quijada utilising the dancing talents of Lydia Bouchard and James Gregg, both using harnesses and cables that were later digitally removed.

Elton, who collects photographer Gregory Crewdson’s work, said: “If Gregory Crewdson made a video I’d like to think it would look something like this.” Crewdson often shoots in suburban landscapes and uses exterior lighting like spotlights to make the ordinary look extraordinary. The idea for the Blue Wonderful video was to take a very mundane, suburban setting and make something magical happen within it.
